My first experience at Shor was incredible! For starters, their service was welcoming and attentive. I was impressed by the restaurant's ambiance and the stunning architecture/decor. The food was excellent, and as a Nihari enthusiast, this dish ranks in my top three favorites. I particularly enjoyed the Passion Mocktail, which had just the right amount of sweet strawberry flavor. Overall, I will definitely come back again! :)

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! Beautiful interior, delicious food, and friendly staff. Food was all explosive with flavors and cooked to perfection. We especially liked the tandoori chicken, garlic naan, and the lamb curry. Knowing that we’ve just moved to LA and never had Pakistani food before, our server gave us the dahi puri yogurt balls and 2 cocktails on the house. It was such a pleasant surprise and they’re all delicious! Will definitely return with more friends!

Absolutely amazing service and food here, I highly recommend it. My family and I have been to their other location, Khan Saab, and decided to try Shor, and it did not disappoint. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Iqbal, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He truly took care of us and made us feel at home. Our server Ali was also wonderful. He walked us through the menu, offered great recommendations, and was consistently respectful and attentive. The food was full of flavor and the spices were perfect, reminding my parents of the food back home in Pakistan. We are very picky about authentic Pakistani dishes, but this chain is amazing. The lamb rogan josh, CTM, Peshawari karahi, saag, dahi puri, and the potato appetizer were all exceptional. Every dish tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. We will definitely be back and are excited to visit their Mint location in Laguna as well.

Honestly shocked to see any critical reviews of this place. What a find. Restaurant is beautiful, high quality everything. Ali our waiter was remarkably hospitable, on time, pleasant and even fun to work with. Food knocked us off our (very comfortable) booth seats. Absolutely delicious and well executed, not to mention affordable. We woke up talking about it. Can't wait to go back. Thank you!

As they say your first impression is the last impression and it was the best one. The welcoming entrance instantly gives a feeling of comfort. Staff is very courteous and well trained in taking care of the need of the customers. Food, drinks and deserts were all wonderful. Overall 100% 5 star and thumbs up for making our experience a memorable one.

I recently tried Shor Restaurant for the first time, and it was a delightful experience that transported me to the vibrant bazaars of South Asia. The ambiance is cozy, with tables and booths spaced comfortably apart, and the decor is gorgeous, featuring bazaar-inspired street paintings and hanging handi decor. Among the things I tried were the Butter Beer, which charmingly reminded me of the one at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios, and the Passionate Mocktail, which was refreshing and full of tropical flavors. The Batata Vada made for a delicious start, while the Blackened Chicken impressed with its smoky spice. The Chicken Biryani was aromatic and flavorful, and the Karahi Paneer paired perfectly with the warm, garlicky Naan.To top it all off, the Rasmalai Peach Rose Milk Cake was an exquisite blend of traditional and modern, offering a light yet indulgent end to the meal. Shor’s menu is a beautiful mix of Indian, Pakistani, and Afghan influences, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a diverse and authentic taste experience. With its inviting atmosphere, thoughtful decor, and exceptional food, Shor Restaurant is a true hidden gem in Hawaiian Gardens.

When it comes to any ethnic but particularly Indian or Pakistani restaurants, usual mindset is don’t expect anything decent let alone fancy, don’t expect cleanliness, forget about hygiene, don’t expect anything close to even being called “service”, and last expect extreme variability / inconsistency so basically play a guessing game about “how good today’s food might be”…. Well in case of SHOR, you’ll be amazed that all of the above nightmares are proven wrong. This is simply amazing family place to enjoy amazing food. Best thing is, it’s all halal (per the staff - hand slaughtered!).
